Accommodation

Lake St Clair Lodge

Private Suites
Lake St Clair Lodge - Luxury in the wilderness. Lake St Clair Lodge has been providing accommodation to visitors and explorers here in Cynthia Bay for almost 30 years. We have over 40 well-appointed cabins, offering you a high-end experience in the wilderness. An opportunity for you to breath in the cleanest air in the world by the shore of Australia’s deepest lake. The team has also driven changes in the restaurant and bar. We now offer fully organic menus in both restaurants and cafe. Our menus are seasonal and promote the best of Tasmanian produce whenever possible. This, along with the highest quality Tasmanian beers, wines and spirits will set you up for exploring the mountains, forests and peaks to be found on both day and multi-day walks. We recognise that times are changing, that we live in an increasingly toxic world and that many guests are seeking time away from this during their vacation. In light of this our housekeeping team will prepare your cabin without the use of harsh chemicals or scents, thus ensuring your environment is as pure in your cabin as it is in the mountains. Should you wish, we can prepare your cabin using the latest in ultraviolet cleaning technology – the same technology used in hospital settings to leave your cabin pristine for your arrival.
