Poppa's Boat Hire is a small family business which is owned and operated by father and son Graeme and Brayden Popowski. Both have a passion for fishing and spend almost every spare minute getting to the sunny East Coast, which is regarded as the fishing capital of Tasmania. Five minutes south of St Helens is the little township of Stieigletz which has its own beach on Georges Bay. Dog-friendly most of the time. Fishing from some of the jetties around here has resulted in some great catches. Generally calm and a great place to launch kayaks or wind surfers.
