Hawley House offers heritage accommodation at Hawley Beach, near Devonport. Hawley House (c.1878) offers guests quintessential Northern Tasmanian hospitality, in a unique and spectacular seaside setting, at Hawley Beach, accessed via Port Sorell. Hawley is the original homestead of the 150 hectare Rubicon Estate, which has been the Houghton family's home for three generations. Guests are accommodated in a range of spacious and individually appointed rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and breathtaking views, eclectic original artworks and furnishings. Tailored menus and function packages cater for wedding receptions, conference functions, family celebrations and corporate events for up to 150 guests. If you are interested in hosting an event, please contact us. Hawley is a veritable nature lover's paradise, and pets are welcome by arrangement. The property is home to a vast array of endemic animals, including nearby fairy penguins and muttonbird rookeries. It is a short drive to the famous wombats of the Narawntapu National Park, and the shy wedge-tailed eagles and Tasmanian devil pawprints can sometimes be sighted when exploring kilometres of nature trails that meander through our extensive wildlife reserve of coastal heathland and peppermint forest.
