Tasmania's longest-running and largest Sunday market, the Evandale Sunday Market features an eclectic range of stalls including fresh produce, handcrafts, collectibles, antiques, and food stalls. It is located at Falls Park in the beautiful historic village of Evandale, close to Launceston and the Launceston airport, and operates between 8:00 am and 1:30 pm every Sunday.

On Saturday 15 February Evandale plays host to the 42nd National Penny Farthing Championships. A full program of Penny Farthing bicycle racing from slow to slalom to sprints attracts local, mainland and international riders - so come to Evandale and be entertained as the cyclists race around the streets of historic Evandale. Food and drink from the businesses of Evandale and food trucks are available surrounding the race circuit, together with entertainment and general merchandise. Come and be exhilarated! Please note the village fair in Pioneer Park is not being held this year.
