Launching from Swanwick or Bagots Point, allows you to kayak around the Moulting Lagoon, well known for its incredible bird life. Fishing is also a favourite past time here and being shallow in many areas there are not a lot of boats to disturb you. Beware of the outgoing tide as it can be quite strong.

Access via the Swanwick Boat Ramp, you can fish from the shore here for dinner. Swanwick is on the East Coast of Tasmania, an Island State of Australia. It is adjacent to the Freycinet National Park where native animals can be seen in a unique environment within a few metres of the roads. Short walks will reward you with even more spectacular scenery. Swanwick has access to a variety of water sports from safe beaches for children to ocean game fishing areas.
