BBQ facilities are available and can be enjoyed overlooking spectacular views.
This possum is wild but we have given her a name - Prairie Dog. she is the best mother ever!
There are two resident echidnas on this 40 ha property. Best seen in the warmer months.
Leven Canyon sits directly under Black Bluff. It is 30 minutes south of Black Bluff View Retreat.
Rocky Cape NP is 75 minutes away. It has world class scenery and natural history.
Your guide is passionate about these rainforests, remnants of when Tasmania was part of Gondwana.
Immerse yourself in nature at the private and peaceful Black Bluff View Retreat. Sleeping in any of the five bedrooms (3 doubles) is like being in the tree canopy. Views in all directions from Black Bluff View Retreat are spectacular, especially from the wrap-around deck. Native wildlife is abundant both during the day and at night. Only 15 minutes from the coastal towns of Ulverstone, Penguin and Turners Beach and 75 minutes from Cradle Mountain and the Tarkine rainforests. The property has two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen and laundry, two large living areas, free wifi and an audiophile-quality sound system. Child friendly. Two-night minimum stay. An optional day tour with Rare Earth Tasmania can be included. This is exclusive to guests who stay at Black Bluff View retreat.
