The Off Season - ECHO Winter Odyssey As part of Tourism Tasmania’s winter campaign, The Off Season, ECHO is hosting a full day East Coast adventure – The ECHO Odyssey. The ECHO Odyssey is a fun, relaxed and informative guided behind-the-scenes bus journey, with behind-the scenes experiences at local producers including Tasman Sea Salt, Melshell Oysters, The Splendid Gin and Gala Wines The Odyssey incorporates expert-led activities such as a Bush Foods Talk and an opportunity to watch a local Sheep Shear - up close and personal. Guests will indulge in samples of local products and be treated to informative and magical storytelling from their host and guides.

Spiky Bridge was built by convicts in the mid 19th century on the east coast of Tasmania located 7.5 kilometres from the town of Swansea. The bridge is made from field stones laid without mortar or cement and the parapet features upright stones, giving the bridge a spiky appearance. On the nearby hill are the remains of the governor's cottage which overlook the bridge.

The East Coast Harvest Odyssey, known as ECHO Festival, has become known for weaving together immersive sensory experiences around the traditions of harvest, old and new. This boutique festival guides guests on a journey of exploration that encompasses all senses – taste, smell, sight, sound and touch. ECHO Festival is back in 2025 for another year. Hosted in the picturesque wine country on the fringes of the seaside township of Swansea, the 2025 program brings together chefs, winemakers and producers along with artists, musicians, storytellers, scientists, entrepreneurs and thought leaders.
