South Esk Art Gallery passionately displays and sells colourful expressions of artwork, while supporting local and national artists. The gallery is located in the historic town of Longford where many creatives reside. The collection is housed in an 1830s Georgian building, and the curator engages positively with the public and artists alike. In addition, several themed exhibitions are held each year. Art Workshop group encourages, develops, and fosters the love of art, providing a meeting place for artists, and those wishing to learn how to draw and paint. Guidance for beginners. Usually a demonstration or workshop each session. BYO materials and lunch, however tea and coffee are provided.
