DANCEWEEKENDER is a vibrant celebration of community dance across Lutruwita/Tasmania, presented by Tasdance. After its successful 2024 launch, the 2025 program builds on the momentum by bringing local dance groups together in afternoons of performing, teaching and sharing. Events across the state invite social dance groups to perform a short piece and then teach their style to the audience, allowing anyone to join in, whether for ten minutes or three hours. Over 450 participants engaged in the 2024 program, showcasing the diversity of dance and the broad community interest. DANCEWEEKENDER is built on Tasdance's ethos of collaboration, access and dance-making for everyone. It's a welcoming space to learn, share, move and connect through dance. This show is part of the Junction Arts Festival.

This is an active day tour and walking is required. Freycinet National Park is a not to be missed place to visit, with its magnificent beaches, including the iconic Wine Glass Bay. There is plenty to do for everyone, short beach walks, rugged walks for the adventurous to the top of the Hazards, swimming at safe sheltered beaches such as Honeymoon Bay, or perhaps spot a whale or some Dolphins from the Cape Tourville Lighthouse. Meet the tame wallabies in the car park and maybe spot a Sea Eagle from the cliff top on a walk to Hazards Beach.

Trivia People Tasmania brings a new product to Tassie, swapping the old boring pen-and-paper trivia quizzes to a fun new interactive entertainment trivia night! *Free to play every Tuesday night at the Sporties Hotel, Launceston. Prizes to be won! The entire game is played on a TV or projector screen, we have interactive buzzers and play music, video and picture questions. Everybody welcome - visitors and locals alike!
